So I’ll add to this. I cannot comment on that beer, but I almost did try it.

First, I do have to give kudos to the staff once again. Just casually asked the woman we chat with a bit at the door in Tewksbury when getting banded if Haze Punch was really sold out. She immediately just stepped aside and called takeout and downstairs and said hold one sec. They found a 2 pack and she just said, I got one for you. I’ll ring you in now in the clubhouse and just add it to your order. Glad you asked me and we could dig one up. It was sold out and I was very thankful someone did that for us. I actually only said it as a joke. Their level of hospitality is always above and beyond.

So, similarly I am glad I grabbed it and it was 2 pack. This was not undrinkable, but more so just an onslaught of fruit flavors I wasn’t expecting to be that intense. Dare I say sort of artificial like. Which I’m sure it may have been intended and just missed on me a little. Even the lime comes through on the end. It’s certainly a stretch to think you’d know Haze was under the fruit flavors.

I liked Haze Punch, but I won't go so far as to make an unscheduled trip up there the next time it's released. I split it with my sister and she liked it, too. Not sure what's up with the Sorbet one, but if anyone else here has tried it, what did you think?

Yeah, agree it was not a bad beer. But maybe just wanted to give some context that it’s truly like juice, if someone was on the fence. It’s much different then haze, very hazy or ultra haze I have now as well.

    Trail Simcoe is fantastic

Almighty Julius looks like vomit. But tastes delicious. Officially grossest looking beer I’ve ever had.

That looks like those 2016-2017 hazies that tried to go crazy over the top. Old Hoof Hearted beers come to mind.

On another note, the mocha latte is ridiculously good, and even though I know a Starbucks coffee (or wherever) would be just as expensive, I wish it was cheaper so I could buy more

    100% exactly what I said!

We drove down the day they originally released mocha latte. Blew me away and we’ve loved it since!

Did you try the Mexican Mocha? I thought it was solid but still liked the mocha more. This is a latte thread now.

Interesting you ask, we almost did. But there are very few flavor profiles I struggle with personally. Rauchbier to an extent being one. The other is any of the Mexican style beers with peppers. I appreciate what they are, my brain just doesn’t enjoy the taste. It would be the same off putting essence in a latte as well.

    Long Live the Latte thread.

I sometimes find myself looking forward to the lattes more than the actual beers. I didn't get to try Mexican Mocha, but I very much enjoyed the Maple Spice Latte from a while back. I generally do not like fall spices in drinks but thought they did a really great job letting them be subtle additions and not dominate the drink. I also really liked the Cereal Milk Latte more recently, which was also more restrained than the name led me to believe. Standard Mocha remains my favorite though.

It’s true, their lattes have all been absolutely excellent. Peppermint mocha for Christmas was great. Eggnog latte was fucking awesome. Even their pumpkin spice, was fng great. House is very good but Mocha is def best.

Woodstock IPAs are the best kept secret. It's so close to Charlton, I am surprised more people don't go.

Wow, I was there last summer when they just started with the pale ales, but now see what you mean. Woodstock is a good 20-25 minutes shorter than Charlton from my house, so that's nice.

Medley better become part of the regular rotation. I figured it would be good after seeing the hop combination but damn. Like Doubleganger and Very Sappy did the nasty.

Are any lagers or IPA/DIPAs tasting particularly good these days? Looks like Medley and the Trail single hops. But anything else, core or otherwise?

    Peacharine trail was epic.

    Or just get trail OG.

    Green is still absolutely fantastic.

Bright is also never going to disappoint.

Trail: Australian Cascade is incredible. I had one side-by-side with the Citra version and it was quite better to me.

Also, Batch 7,000 is peak right now. Out of the gate the Peacharine was a little too powerful for me, but I just had one and it’s absolute top notch Haze that you would struggle to get anywhere else

My understanding is they just began pouring the foundation so my guess is you'll have better luck in late August '25.
