Some years ago (2015?) I rode my little folding bike (true, I didn't walk) some miles from my sister-in-law's place in Burlington VT to Winooski, stood in line for a good half hour, and bought a four pack of Heady Topper. Given the option, I also bought a four pack of Sip of Sunshine. Both beers were a bit of a novelty at the time, and I enjoyed both immensely. I remember the first sip of SOS was--something else. The beers were handed out at the beer store by a man in a cubicle protected by a half-door (closed on the bottom, open on top). I almost felt as if I had been waiting in line for Confession.

I would walk a distance equivalent to the calories in the beer…but as someone else stated, only if I don’t have to wait in line when I get there.

Walking is actually my primary mode of transportation. For a beer specifically, I think the furthest I’ve walked was about ten miles, and it was a delightful excursion.

But how much would I walk? I’d have to say 500 miles, and maybe 500 more  :beers:

I'd Walk a mile for Olive Loaf and probably my fave beer. But I don't really have a favorite beer, like just one. There's so much good stuff out there (at least here there is). If I had to walk to go get it, I would.

As long as you are providing the propulsion, I will allow it.

    Cheers!

P.S. Or if you own a camel you could use that beast of burden to pull your wagon.

I'll drive, even if it's only a few blocks away.
I might be too drunk to walk back home, lol.

Huh. Title took me in a different direction.

Big part of getting older is weird, random memory freeze frames.

2003. We live in Tampa. Golf league. Hot. So… hot. After a big afternoon storm. Waiting at a par 3. Crack open a 16oz Bud Heavy.

    Fire up a Camel Light.

    Solid memory.

Wagon? Dude. I have a cooler with wheels, beats a wagon all to hell for hauling beer.

I would suggest both a wagon and cooler with wheels are easier to fill with beer and take for a mile walk, or multi-mile walk, than a backpack full of beer, especially a backpack that also is a cooler.

However if that brewery/beer store to which we are going requires hiking through the woods, your backpack idea has both wagon and wheeled cooler beat all to hell
