Follow-up… Friend did share a bottle of the recent batch with me. Was great. A lot of coconut but also intertwined with bourbon barrel. Not an over-the-top sweet thick coconut bomb. another friend sending me the more recent non-ba version. Will be fun to try. (interestingly per the non-ba description it looks like 18% is ba. So if they were pulpit rock they might sell it as partial-ba)
