I have a similar problem in our area here in Eastern Pennsyltucky. I don't know what their deal is; is everyone buying up the Prima or is it on a limited "year round" brewing schedule?

I checked their site, and what I found led me to believe they're limiting distribution to Scranton/WB. I think they missed the train on the hazy craze, and now it's catching up to their bottom line. I hope I'm wrong! Meanwhile, I can grab more of these old sixers, I just might bc its still better IMO than so many generic pils out there

Very close to finishing this excellent novel by Antonio Munoz Molina. Generally about the decedents of the displaced Sephardic Jews from Spain around the rest of Europe.



On the Spanish note, then have to spin some Narciso Pepes, as he performs his version of Joaquin Rodrigo's Concierto De Aranjuez. Along with Sketches of Spain, of course, might be my favorite piece of music.

I didn't have any Spanish ciders, which I really love, especially Basque Ciders, which I wanted to pair with this, but those are getting really hard to find now (cause of course they are being replaced with surgery sweet apple juice with just a bit of alcohol in them, that people call "ciders" nowadays). Anyway, They are surprisingly like a true Oude Geuze, so that means a 3 Fonteinen is in order

 

OK. Front yard is chopped. Took a few beers. Par for the course. Looks good. Staying with the Schell's Northland Gold. I'd say threre's some flooding goin' on down in New Ulm w the Cottonwood River. Dang.

Key City Brewing
Mississippi Queen Blonde Ale



Rich, dark gold color with small quickly vanishing white cap.

Aroma of rich, sweet malt and lihtly floral hops.

Flavor is straight up sweet malt with a light hop seasoning. This combination remains from start to finish.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

Overall it's a good stab at the blonde ale style with more emphasis on malt than hops.

 

Oh yeah, love both Grusin and Ritenour.
