Cantillon Quintessence (2025)

The date for next year’s Quintessence has been set - Thursday, 1 May 2025. The guest breweries are all locals: l’Ermitage, La Jungle, La Mule, and De La Senne.

Tickets are expected to go on sale in December.

 

The Facebook post that announced the date also stated that the date of the sale and detailed information about the event would be announced "this autumn", so Cantillon is theoretically providing advance warning as to when tickets will go on sale.

That being said, I also wouldn’t be surprised if there’s no warning given prior to a post going up saying they’re on sale.

Tickets for 2020 2022 Quintessence sold out instantly; despite the #beerisdead trajectory over the past five years, I fully expect that they’ll still go very quickly.

 

Cantillon did post the sale date in advance: they go on sale at 4 PM / 16:00 CET on Tuesday, December 17.

The ticket link will be posted via Facebook at that time; based on past events (and their current ticketing for tours), the tickets should be available on Billetweb.

 

Despite yet another Billetweb meltdown...frantically refreshing for 15 minutes eventually worked, and I'll be there.

 

Due to the ticket sale being searchable on Billetweb before Cantillon posted about the event leaked, a second day for Quintessence has been added for 30 April - those tickets go on sale at 16:00 CET on Friday.

Anyone who bought tickets today is barred from buying tickets for the 30 April date.

 

I also need to get around to the "booking hotels, etc." part of trip planning myself, but I'm arriving in Brussels the preceding weekend and plan on visiting Tilquin on Saturday, Grote Dorst and De Cam on Sunday, bike touring Monday through Wednesday (going north out of Brussels to Baarle-Nassau/Baarle-Hertog and back, with stops at Westmalle's cafe, Het Anker, and Duvel along the way), then Quintessence Thursday and 3 Fonteinen Friday/Saturday.
