What beer are you drinking now? #4270

Added the 3/3 Pastriness to sample. Even though it has cinnamon and marshmallow, two verboten stout adjuncts, this one might beat out the other two. The Quiet Space has a nice aroma but the flavor comes off with a sort of diacetyl twang with a thin mouthfeel. The PVW 21 Quiet Space was superior. The Coconut Crazies is nice. Aroma is pleasant and the flavors are in balance.

Lite after a few bloody mary's for lunch prep. She's making a cheesesteak dip for corn chips for lunch. Ball buster of a 1st stage of this years TDF! Many mountains and temps in the upper 90's. Neilson Powless is one of just three Americans in the Tour, Matteo Jorgenson (Visma - Lease A Bike) and Sean Quinn (EF Education - EasyPost) making up the American contingent. Twenty more stages and 2,000+ miles to go.

Wolves at the Door Vienna Lager 4.8%
Wyermann Barke and regular Vienna malt blend, some Munich 1 and a little Carared. Tradition and Hersbrucker hops. Step mashed and decocted, then lagered 6 weeks. Results in a well balanced beer with a soft on the palate mouthfeel. Nice job.

The rare bird English style Brown Ale. Read the Room by Good Word. 4% ABV. Medium bodied, low bitterness with toffee and hint of chocolate. Very well crafted.

At Brink Brewing Company. Drinking Garcia's Lime Lager paired with some lunch from Tortilleria Garcia, which is a few doors down and the namesake of this lime lager.

I had to get myself a case of Spaten Oktoberfest after reading the posts about the early release of whichever one it was. I'll be hitting that for a bit.
I don't care if it is the middle of Summer, it's a mighty tasty solid refreshing beer.
Before we know it, Winter Warmers will be making an appearance in mass quantities.
