Drinking an all citra IPA from Barrel Theory . It’s a beautiful cool 68 degree sunny afternoon (sweatshirt weather) more on the way tomorrow.

 

I'm craving a IPA. I want a good 1 tho. I'm going to have to make that happen soon.

I paired my hero sandwich with The Big Dirty from Ludlam Island Brewing. A good selection. Cheers!

 

#2, from the same brewery, but at the opposite end of the beer nerd spectrum. When I saw this was available at the brewery this past week, I changed dinner plans and reconnoitered, as a self respecting beer nerd would do.

That was a good decision, because this is world class, IMHO, with the extra vanilla complemented by the cinnamon, cacao, and ancho chilis, which provides a bit of heat that I really appreciate. Absolutely love it.

 

I feel safer knowing the Assassin is watching our backs

 

Watching Western States 100m livestream coverage... but now with a lovely Upslope German Style Pilsner.
