Had a few a Great Heights Brewing this Sunday afternoon. While starting my new book...

Their "West Coast Lager" for whatever that is worth. Review over at the NBW thread. While I enjoy it, I would rather have a lager that isn't just stand in for an IPA. Really fruity, resiny, pine, dankness. Which is perfectly fine, Just keep the lager out of that



Then on over to the Upside Pub.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in the glass. Chimichurri steak sandwich is always really good.

 

I had a WC Lager yesterday at Good Word. Not real sure how I feel about them. It was hoppy and refreshing. Easy drinking, but I'm not sure why someone wouldn't just go with an IPA.

Now that it's raining I'm on to a BA Stout: Natural Necessities-The Natural from Round Table Brewery. This is very good and I prefer it to the base Stout, Dark Necessities. Interestingly, the ABV is lower (8.5 vs. 9.7). This one has more depth of flavor and given the 8.5% ABV it's very easy to drink. I hope Round Table keeps brewing it because I'll buy more bottles next time. Cheers!

New to me brewery from Woodruff ,Wi , hopped with Nelson and Motueka hops . Im am liking this .
