    Decided to go on an impromptu road trip from Miami to the St. Pete/Tampa area.. stopped at Calusa Brewing for a refresher(having their "Florida Flavor" Lager w/mosaic, centennial and saphir hops)after driving 3.5 hours, Cheers!!

    Pours a clear, dark brown color, clear yet mahogany toned in the glass; dense, lively carbonation; thick head, khaki colored and densely foamy. Sweet nose; very light caramel and light brown sugar. Light, malt-forward taste with mild dark roasted grain character; toffee; almonds. Medium body; smooth and slippery on the palate.

    I love a good dark beer, and a good, easy drinking dark lager is a real find. This brewery created a beauty with this Czech dark lager beer.

    Day 2 of my staycation.. chores were done by 12.. lunch and caught a few episodes of the latest season of The Bear. Just can't get into it.. so decided to head downstairs and enjoy some music..
