Dr. Juice New England IPA



Nice golden color with decent white cap that quickly dissapates.

Aroma of floral, fruity hops and sweet malt.

Distinctly juicy flavors that are clear and somewhat toned down from other NE IPAs. Not diminished or watered down, just less intense in flavor. The usual descriptors apply, mango, pineapple, passon fruit, etc., but to me they simply come across as juicy.

Medium full texture with balancing carbonation.

Overall it's a good breakfast beer.

Final Impression and summation: 4 Unfortunately, no bourbon and no barrels in either aroma or taste. Otherwise, a good Murican Impy stout.

I've been having a bitch of a time posting the last few days - whenever I go outside BA to get a photo, everything I've typed is gone when I try to add the photo. Soooo, I'm starting with the photo today and adding the words after.

 

Happy 4th of July BA's! Though I would start the holiday with a locally made Blonde Ale from Fire Maker Brewing Calamity Jane. Named after Bobby Jones' putter he nicknamed Calamity James. Decent brewery but this was disappointing. Definitely a gold course beer.

G'day all! Happy 4th to the Yanks on BA!

Been a long time since I had a Stone IPA. I can never find any dating on the package. I took a chance and bought a 6pack. Packaged April 15th, enjoy by August 13th. This must have been refrigerated most of the time cuz it's tasting fine.
