    1) BlackStack Wedding Season (8.0% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, El Dorado, Cascade, & Phantasm for flavors of grapefruit, ripe OJ, and pineapple.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Pseudoscience (8.4% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, Nectaron, and Nelson for flavors of Orange citrus, pineapple, white grape, berries, and mango. Clean. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

    Winner: BlackStack Pseudoscience
Happy Sunday BeerAdvocates. Time for a BlackStack IPA Battle, which I think produces some of the best haze in the Minneapolis area. First is Wedding Season. Dense orange notes from the El Dorado and Cascade. Yet some bright grapefruit notes from the Phantasm. I tried this last year and thought it was alright. This year I think I'm enjoying it better, also more fresh. Average to slightly above for BlackStack. Good stuff especially if you like Phantasm.
Next is Pseudoscience, a collab with Toppling Goliath with flavors of orange, tropical grape, berries, mango. Getting a little bit of dankness here that I didn't in previous reviews. Maybe some age is creeping in. Still this thing is popping with New Zealand hop flavors.

Good morning, advocates. Somehow Focal & Heady had me twisted on the 4th, so I decided to act civilized the past two days. Like my man told me at the Hunger Mountain Co-op back in the day: Be careful; it's a headknocker. Starting things out light today w/ some Steel Reserve. Hunter, what? Cheers!!!

211 Steel Reserve is what a buddy of mine was drinking the night he got hit by a car (while a pedestrian) and tried to fight off the EMTs. So please be responsible when feeling the steel!

It's no joke. I drank a 64oz bottle of Olde E in the hot Mississippi sun once. I heard voices later that day, and I swear I had an angel on one shoulder, the devil on the other. They were at war w/ each other. Cheers!

Blacklist Brewing Nectaron Prime (6.7% no canning date):
A NEIPA from Minnesota with Nectaron and Mosaic hops for flavors of tropical orange, tangerine, tropical berries, with some dank pine notes. Clean and dry.

Another New Zealand IPA from Minneosta. These guys are up north in Duluth. I've been to their Taproom a couple of times and enjoyed their stuff. What a cool beer name. New Zealand Nectaron and Mosaic here with tropical Mosaic flavors, plus some dank pine and stonefruit notes from the Nectaron. Beautiful pour. The aroma was better than the flavor, but it's still pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but good flavors and enjoyable with a name that makes me want another one.

What’s good BA??? Enjoying this beautiful day.
Wife and kids went down to Florida for the weekend to visit friends. I stayed back to work some overtime. Love my family but it’s nice to have a day just to yourself. We all need it.

Normally I pick up their IPAs (not the lactose ones) whenever I see them. To me they have the highest quality haze you can get on the shelves. I blame this on Ommegang
