They're talking about the A Long Time Ago package currently FS.

    I was responding to this.

Agree that packaging A Long time Ago with Tides doesn’t make too much sense. Especially when the majority of sales are to LC members who had an unlimited go at these as singles.

Library release is a package per IG: 10 Year BW, CDC b1, OdB v18, and OF v19

Man, hope I’ve got fast enough fingers… hopefully there are quite a few packages or bottles of BW. Love 10 yr BW… good luck all!

Unless there is a “vintage” charge, around $200 seems about right. If they charge a cellaring fee, $250.

I swear I am not just piling on. I find it truly hard to believe that they won’t include a cellaring charge. If they do, this is an easy nope. If they do, I kind of need to find someone that wants to buy the sours at cost.

If they price it at secondary… what’s the point. Could have it delivered to my door for that much. I’m certain it will be marked up… no doubt. But, hoping it’s reasonable. For me, if 10 yr BW gets over $100ish I’m out. That’s above my normal limit and I’ve complained a lot about TG taking KBBS that high :grimacing:

Sorry, I was talking bottle… and possibly misinterpreting others pricing. I guess we will see if packaged

I'll actually be on the road to STL when that package drops. Will have to watch for details and see if any in person releases pop up too.

Otherwise, my gf and I plan to head to 2nd Shift. Open invite since I always enjoy meeting other BAs. I haven't been to 2nd Shift since the Cask Festival of '20, but eager to sample through some LSD variants and leave with some cans.

I’m waiting for the release to be a handful of packages and that’s it.

My guess is not a ton of packages.

10-Year BW is a bottle that most LC are still chasing. They could have bootstrapped it with a lot of other things to move product, but they chose other bottles that (presumably) they don't have many of.

It does seem most likely and practical that there are not a ton of packages. But, it remains kind of shitty if they have only like 70 packages.

This coming from someone who will almost for sure nope out.

Would be more respectful to just say how many there are.
