    Greedy season ticket holder question:

Let's say I max out on the pre-sale for VSOJ / Cherry VSOJ.

Am I allowed to try to max out of the general sale as well?

(Lest anyone think this is for MAX PROFITZ, please know these MIGHT get me through the fall)

Pretty sure it's never been an issue in the past. But, I too would like to know for certain.

Yeah, I don't pay close attention but I think they usually say the ST holders can double-dip.

    Correct, this is allowed.

If it wasn’t allowed, you could just as easily buy as someone else for the public sale so there’s no point in disallowing.

So there is his route to tripling up- presale, max out general, and then buy someone else’s during public sale.

Stopping in Chicago for a couple days on the way to Michigan and the stars are aligning to be able to swing by Rev for the first time during the VSOJ release. A trip to Revolution is on my bucket list, so I'm pumped. Curious, how crazy do the release parties get crowd-wise? I'll have my two kids in tow and wondering if it makes sense to swing by for a couple pours before our reservation at Pequods Friday night. Otherwise I'll need to wait until our return leg a week later, and not sure if any draft variants will still be on. Cheers!

I’d say if you’re there between 2 (open) and maybe 4ish things will be busy but manageable, after that it seems to get busier. Still manageable at those times but I wouldn’t want to be there with kids personally.

Saturday at open would be perfect if you’re able to do that. Otherwise Friday early is the move imo. Variants likely not all on tap a week later.

This advice is spot on. I will say that while I’ve never brought my kid (mainly because the taproom doesn’t offer food), I wouldn’t be uncomfortable doing so and I’ve seen kids of all ages. While somewhat loud due to the open industrial space, the crowd typically is not especially rowdy, at least in my experience.

Got it, thanks so much for the great info. We’ll see how Friday’s activities go and hopefully we can swing by before it gets busier, but otherwise I’ll plan to go on our return trip. Thanks for the info and can’t wait!

I’d hit the brewpub. You won’t get the two draft variants but I don’t think you’ll miss much. You will get a calm atmosphere and as much of vsoj, cherry and coconut deth as you’d like.

@seniorshmently I think the advice above, or arriving early to the taproom early on Friday as advised are your best bets. Brewpub has good food to keep everyone happy too. Also, if you strike out for some reason on the online VSOJ release, they often (always?) have limited 4 packs for IP sales at the brewpub. If you have an online order to pick up at the taproom it'll be easy to find a quick parking spot so you can run in and grab while the fam waits in the car. Long time Rev fan, season ticket holder, and have kids myself. So I understand having to make the game plan for the least amount of damage for all involved

    This is the move

Go to the Brewpub and enjoy the featured beers on draft in a much more kid-friendly environment

Pequods and Deep Woods sounds like an epic meal, why separate them? My uninformed opinion would be can you get the Pequods to go and crush that ‘za in the taproom while quaffing barrel aged goodness big enough to stand up to Chicago deep dish (deep woods, deep dish- this sounds meant to be).

Thanks all, this is super helpful! I was planning on hitting the brewpub on our way to the airport on the return trip, so I’ll just stick with that plan and not try to over complicate things as @flat_lander and @BeerPrince22 suggest. Dang, I hadn’t thought of the Deep Woods deep dish combo @HouseofWortship. Might need to consider this…

Is the merch up for season ticket holders tomorrow? Will it also be available in person over the weekend?

A Deep Wood double feature of sorts before the feature presentation this week.
