What beer are you drinking now? #4283

My youngest nephew has chosen his (in-law from my PoV) grandpa’s team and is a huge fan of the franchise player. He told me to shush when I mentioned the recent record of his favorite team.

Sorry to interrupt. Sipping a little of the GF’s IPA with some whiskey on the porch. The beer is quite tasty if ever so slightly grainy.


Side note: this rainbow has, in sections similar in arc length to those photo’d, slowly rotated from right to left from our perspective - with us getting but a few drops of rain.

On tap at the brewery.

Clear golden pouring beer. There's a geyser of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. The head is a creamy looking white color. Great sticky lacing on the glass.
Aroma is slightly malty but there's a pleasing tropical hop aroma also. Aromas play well together.
Taste- up front this is a hoppy beer. Lots of tropical notes to it. The hops fade a bit and a good grain hit comes into play. Very malty. The grain mellows out a bit and the hops shine again with a nice pine bitterness. The bitterness lingers.
Crisp body. Bubbly feeling. Full feeling.

 

Good evening, all! Anyone up for a nice session DIPA? I think I've found one: Voodoo Ranger Tropic Force, on tap at The Other Place, downtown Cedar Falls, IA, location. They really nailed this one. Tropical fruit front and center, with notes of citrus zest and umami. The alcohol is dangerously well hidden. My chicken carbonara pizza isn't ready yet and I'm about done with this pint because I can't stop drinking it. Gotta start pacing myself here. Cheers!!



Edit: I finally got it. It's delicious.
