What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4292

Sticking with local IPA's, but it is True Anomaly's Ben's House IPA this time. Three IPA's in a row is not something I usually do ha, but these are all really good.

Switching from Eric Dolphy, to his good friend Charles Mingus...with another all time great album. Mingus Ah Um.





Going to open some Bourbon/Whiskey that @Premo88 gave me the other day, a little later on. So this is probably it for me...I'll be over at the Beyond Beer threads then

Lupulin 100 Spoke (6.7% canned 7/8/24): A West-Coast IPA from Minneosta with flavors of tropical orange marmalade, apricot, melon, and sweet pine.

Another West-Coast IPA. First try at this one. Cascade and Centennial. Drinks more along the likes of a midwest IPA than a west-coast. Has the malt sweetness and tropical flavors. Bitterness is hidden amongst the sweetness here. I find it sometimes hard to find an authentic west-coast IPA. Many people make them, but not with the authentic and classical bitterness it should have. Also, my palate is somewhat wrecked after the bottle share at 3 Sheeps yesterday so tasting any of the IPAs today has been difficult. Was hoping to shock it back into the groove with these. The weekend was a fun time, hope you all are recovering in your own way!

My new favorite Pils. Texture from Tree House, a very hoppy Pilsner. I reviewed yesterday on NBW.

 

Happy Sunday everyone! I just unpacked a little water feature to add to our little “catio” area (a fully enclosed … annex? … to the master bathroom whose existence is inexplicable, but we’re having fun with it). The beer is Anchorage’s Nguyen, a pretty solid hazy, if not perfect.
