What beer are you drinking now? #4297

Good morning.

Birrificio Italiano (Limido Comasco, ITA) - TIPOPILS - Italian Pils (5,2%).

This is the most exported Italian craft beer in the world.
As already written in several threads, the one that reaches you across the ocean is shipped in tanks and dry hopped on site, to guarantee the same freshness and quality of product as the one here.
When a few years ago for customs reasons all this was suddenly prohibited (they required that the product for export be labeled and already packaged to be ready for sale) export was also temporarily blocked, which however, after having solved the bureaucratic problem, has already resumed for some time with the same methods as before.

Splendid already to the sight (bright golden, very clean, compact foam and with herbaceous aromas mixed with durum wheat), it's fresh, herbaceous, with that bitter finish in which herbaceous and resinous notes are integrated with those of cereals, in my taste, in a very balanced and valuable way.
There are many other Italian beers that should be appreciated but that, especially due to limited production volumes (as well as for economic reasons), cannot afford intercontinental export.
This one is not only widely exported, but it is even dry-hopped upon arrival to ensure it captures the exact same organoleptic characteristics as the one destined for the local market.
I hope you can appreciate its characteristics and the effort put into ensuring you get the product in the best possible condition.

This is a great beer that we get in my area (albeit at a hefty price). Delicious stuff. I bet it is even better on draft.

Lagunita's a Little Sumpin Sumpin from this week Lagunita's BOGO at Publix, including Maximus.....

 

Indeed! Being widely available is a big plus too.

Somehow Sierra Nevada Summerfest is really refreshing today.

The Fest and marzen brews are starting to hit this week around here - this one I picked up late yesterday and is tasting awesome as usual! BBD of 4/29/25

 

Settling down to watch the opening ceremony.

 

The wife made bison stuffed shells for lunch. I'm enjoying my first McILHENNEY Brewing Muntz New Zealand Rye IPA. It's brewed with Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin hops and it's delicious!

 

Getting ready for the Olympics with a Bissell Brothers The Substance Ale.
