    Made it to the french Jura. This will be my view for the next days since it's pretty hot. Now enjoying a local beer infused with some flowers. Pretty good I have to say. Cheers!

    Cuvée des Trolls… quite pleasant for the palate, it has rapidly warmed up since I posted early.

    On the post surgery front and news, doing swell. The surgeon prescribed some Tramadol, three times a day but considering the dosage I only took one or two, for the better. Also a nurse came twice to my place to replace the bandaid but we eventually agreed it wasn’t really needed as much as I’m happy to make her work it’s a bit entitled right in summer for something I can do myself. No complications anyway.

    As for walking again, slowly but surely! A short 700 meters walk in the forest this am. Could have done more but it’s only been 10 days since I was operated.

    Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting us off, and glad to hear you're surviving post-surgical trauma well.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer - last of the new brews I brought home from Bavaria (except for the ones for the next BIF)!

    Final Impression and summation: 3.75 Just another Belgian blonde – unfortunately, couldn’t detect any tannins or vanillin from the oak chips.

    Just finished up trimming the shrubs and sweating my ass off. Showered and now enjoying a little Modelito refreshment. I'll take care of the post-cleanup later on when it's not as humid out.

    G'day all and a big thumbs @Shanex for bouncing back so quickly.

    My last bottle of Alaskan Smoked Porter. Minimal amount of oxidation, which surprised me. Good and smoky and malty, decent carbonation despite not hearing even a small hiss when I popped the cap.
