Double Double Mash - Richer, boozier, with more barrel character than Double Mash, but neither resembles the Mash of old. I dunno, it’s been a while, but it feels like there’s more hops and less dark fruit in these newer iterations. I think this is better than regular Double Mash and pretty solid, but it's still a little disappointing for a double-BA barleywine. It's been a while, but I think I prefer the original Mash and maybe that second batch, but both were so long ago that maybe my memory is off. The 375 format is great though, and I like the general concept of "naked" Bruery beers. I actually bought a few of these, and don't have any regrets.

Rhymes With Orange - An interesting little experiment. Smells like a Belgian witbier if a bartender threw an orange in it, yeasty phenols and esters, and the vanilla adds a creamy note to the nose that’s quite nice. Taste is much sweeter than the nose would imply, a bit of yeasty spice but it's overwhelmed by the sweetness. A little alcohol heat, but no real barrel presence. I've heard conflicting things about the barrel aging status of this and I never feel like pale beers take the barrel aging as well as darker styles, but again, I don't get much out of this). I don't tend to love the Bruery wheatwine styles, but this is better than all of the ones included in reserve society last year (and there were several).

All the Strawberry Cows - Solid, the strawberry adds a bright note that doesn’t overshadow the base (I often find that Bruery fruited stouts get overly jammy), which is rich and full-bodied, creamy chocolate with a bit of vanilla, silky smooth, and tasty. Better than expected, though I don't know if it's really any better than the plain All the Cows.

Also shared a bottle of Black Tuesday Reserve 2021 with a couple folks recently, still utterly fantastic. I tend to prefer the hot bourbon on bourbon action (2015/2020/2022) better than the bourbon on brandy action (2021), but this is still phenomenal.

$40 to ship 7 bottles now. I'll wait until next month's cellar bottles I suppose.

Got my beer in a timely manner (1 week), for those of you wondering how shipping is going. I tried Blueberry Brueonico and Chocolate Dynasty back to back. Chocolate Dynasty is hot and very dry from the chocolate. The chocolate flavor is more in line with bakers chocolate than a milk cholate flavor and is not very sweet. If you have some I would wait 6 months to a year to allow things to sort themselves out in the bottle. Blueberry Brueonico is excellent, it has an initial tartness but dissipates as it warms. The blueberry flavor is very forward as is the honey, with a mild barrel finish. I did not taste any coconut, but that is not untypical for me with Bruery beers with coconut in them. As for the granola and raisins their flavor is present, but in the background.

Agree, and it's very much in line with Chocolate Reign for me. Got a similar dry, almost bitter cacao off of it when fresh, but I tried some at 1 year and at 2 years, and some of that cacao rounded out nicely. I expect the same from Dynasty...

Is there a reason they haven't been barrel-aging these Christmas beers the last few years? I guess these aren't as popular as other releases, but I would think that 2-4 would turn out pretty great. I'm down to my last BA PiaPT...

Yeah, I've gotta think they were poor sellers. Or rather, they probably have to commit to the whole series, and some are better than others.

The big benefit of these is the Christmas branding and marketing, and I reckon they accomplish that just fine with the non-BA versions, leaving their barrel capacity open to other experiments.

Yeah I think literally any 12-pack of Christmas beers themed to the song would sell great every year good the holidays, even shitty beer, so the fact that it's quality beer probably makes it a sure thing sales-wise each holiday season

So, no word on the parlor box yet? Last I heard we would be notified when it was available.

Looks like according to Untappd, there’s a double barrel version of Logical Conjunction

I ordered several archive bottles back on July 15, and they have not shipped. There were no new releases included, so I would have expected everything was already “on hand”.

Are others still seeing significant shipping delays (16 days and counting just to ship out)?

As a bit of an update on the Michigan shipping situation, an order I’d placed back in early March has apparently just been shipped to me. I’ll believe the package when I see it but it’s an encouraging sign that things are shaking out for those like me in a state on temporary shipping hiatus.

My last couple of shipments to MD have only taken a week each included new release and archive beers. Can't hurt to email them to find out what the hold up is.

I will file this one under “User Error”. The bottles ended up in my Cellar, so it looks like I must have missed clicking on shipping on the second purchase screen and routed to cellar instead. Bruery took care of it for me and are not charging for shipping from my cellar, so good outcome!

This exactly. It's been close to a month and nothing. To top it off, it's now listed as add to cart rather than pre-order on the site. What's up bruery? This seems off.
