    Good afternoon advocates!

After a lovely day spent on the coastal town, we’re enjoying a Duvel and Kir Cassis (for her, it’s a white wine with berries notes)

Not sure if it’s any « bonus » but this is us on the playa earlier.

    Cheers friends and fellow advocates.

Troegs Nimble Giant from a stop in Harrisburg yesterday. Glad to be home here in Water world.

I had a chance to watch the last season of Mrs. Maisel last week. They used this song.

    1) Falling Knife Of A Feather (5.5%):
A Helles Lager from Minnesota with flavors of lemonflower, smooth honey notes. Clean
    versus
    2) Utepils Helles (5.1%): A German Helles Lager from Minnesota with flavors of pale Munich malts, smooth bread malts. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Winner: Falling Knife Of A Feather
Falling Knife vs Utepils Helles Battle. First is Falling Knife Of A Feather. Floral, yeasty, and clean. Excellent flavors and drinkability.
Next is Utepils, one of my favorite German Helles. Smooth bread and honey notes. Very similar.
Close, but slight win to Falling Knife for the crisp drinkability.

    Insight/Venn Leafy Greens (7.1% canned 6/30/24):
A "West-Coast IPA" from Minnesota with terpenes for flavors of cannabis, herb, more cannabis, and some citus. Dank and juicy.

First try at this one. Sort of regretted picking it up. Opening the can I already knew what to expect. Tons of cannabis and dank herbs. Some juicy citrus as well. Dank, herbal, and sweet cannabis. Sort of like cannabis in a can. I am certainly worried there could be a high level of THC in here.
I don't know folks. Another masquerade. Really I think its disingenous to call this a west-coast IPA. I'm not going to pour it out, but probably put in back in the fridge and open a beer I actually enjoy.
...okay I'll probably pour it out.

Another wonderful day. Early morning walk in and then off to the mother-in-law's to mow. Finally got around to cleaning the bird party droppings off some of my deck furniture. Now a Aldersbacher Urhell, last one, and only beer of the day. So let's make it a tall one. Cheers!

I wasn't on yesterday, so I missed posting about Charlie Haden's birthday...which was yesterday ha. Late birthday remembrance for one of my all time favorite musicians.

Saint Arnold Amber in the glass.

Charlie Haden's Golden Number spinning. An album of duets with Don Cherry, Ornette Coleman and Artie Shepp.

Town inspector just signed off on my solar installation so now I have to wait for National Grid to come by and replace the meter and then we can power up the system. He said probably a couple of weeks.:sunglasses: Having a Stone IPA ..
