I didn’t even know BJ’s canned until I saw this in my local Total Wine. It’s … eh. Fine. Not really a Kölsch, though, IMO. Also: happy saturday!

Got the cars washed and cleaned out. My boys were a huge help. When they were younger they always wanted to "help" wash the cars. It turns out they weren't really much help at all. Now they are...but it costs me $ now. Tree House Very Hazy. Cheers!

Phase Three In Bloom In Bloom (7.8% canned 6/5/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Amarillo for flavors of lush orange, blood orange, tangerine.

Another great beer from Phase Three. They have been hard to come by, but picked this up near Sheboygan. Amarillo isn't always my favorite, but this is pretty good. Did a beer haul today so trying to clear out the fridge of these. I hope to see more of Phase Three soon.

Gnosis/Old Irving Krampus Nocturnus - Rocky Road (Imperial Stout rested on cacao nibs, marshmallow, vanilla, toasted almonds). Liquid rocky road ice cream. Hits all of the adjuncts well in a thick stout base. Both breweries do stouts well and this one shows it.

 

Currently at the Northside Yacht Club. Drinking Rhinegeist Truth IPA...about to be paired with the monthly special.

Just finished KBS Blueberry while scrolling through today's WBAYDN. It did spend several months outside the refrigerator which likely accounts for the disjointed flavors and watery feel. Still love KBS but i suspect i did not treat this one correctly.
