My step-father (now Dad) put my baseball card collection as well as my Darth Vader case w/ all the action figures (most of them) on the sidewalk for trash day in the late 80's. My mother has never let him forget it. I'm over it, but I often wonder what exactly I had. Memories.

Yeah it is. As a matter of fact, it came from the once stout drinker, @Resistance88. I have been drinking down my entire Firestone Walker cellar inventory, being down to literally only four or five bottles of Parabola or Anniversary blends. Why? I don’t know. It felt right. Most years held up well, though it was either 2019 or 2020 that was quite bitter and angry. Sort of like me, but unlike the beer, I can change my attitude. :hugging:

You're right. Typing that out brings it all back. No BS.

Hindsight is 20/20, and bad decisions often linger heavily on the mind. You seem like a “let the past die” sort of person from my BA familiarity with your posts. Carpe diem! Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die! This is all temporary, so I’m trying to enjoy the moments. Right now, I’m knocking back fancy ass beers with all of you! :yum:

It's an amazing beer. The alder smoke is so complex. I recommend it big time.

I'm trying to do the same. Watch my posts for FW proprietor's reserve series beers the next few months. First world problems.

It kind of does look like it, best part is you can’t really see my ugly mug. Cheers Hunter!

Mine had a few holes in it, but yes! Have you seen what some of those fetch on eBay? I'd honestly rather just have mine in my possession. I'm a sucker for nostalgia.

When I spent time in MA during COVID, I heard one local woman remark: It's a shame we can't see his face; he's the only man I've ever stared at and took notes. LARRRGE...

Back in my happy place after dishes and some Olympics with Central Waters Vanilla Bean Stout. F-N USA, BA! In spite of all the extreme bullllll shit, still the greatest country in the world. Simply my opinion, and all due respect to the wonderful international contingent at the virtual bar.:wink:

I haven't looked. I too am a sucker for nostalgia. I grew up with Star Wars, Star Trek, Transformers and G.I. Joe. Saturday mornings were a special time to catch all the new episodes. Memories.

As long as you hold on to a Bear Temper while I have my Bear Temper from you, we’ll have our beer mind melds in sync!

That is a nice beer. I put it a notch above their vanilla rye.

I think the 80's were an amazing time, but I often wonder what it would have been like to be a teenager in the 70's. I suspect many of our users are very fond of the period they grew up in, as they should be. Hunter, the beer is talking to you. Yes, it definitely is!
