Cheers, brother Shanex. I was surprised and happy to see WBAYDN? bump so hard Saturday. I am one of the few members who posted when the forum was just in the hundreds of posts. And in its first year or two, I recall a few days when the thread went 20 deep (this is when a page had 40 posts). Yes, the bomber and whale days are over. This beer is the same name, but with different hops and flavorings than previous release years based on the disconnect between the can notes and notes entered when the beer was created in 2022. Perhaps a breakup with this brewery is in order.

Final Impression and summation: 4 Despite the absence of the aroma and flavor of hops, they make their presence felt in the slight bitterness. An interesting attempt to reproduce an old beer recipe.

Walked 3.5 miles this cool 58° morning - these temps are why I came home to WV for the summer! All the windows open, laundry in, time for a breakfast beer, and this beauty comes courtesy of my recent IP trade with @ChicagoJ - Revolution’s “Life Jacket” a tropical fruit, coconut infused BBA English-style BW, #properglassware courtesy of @ChicagoJ :



Canned 7/13/23. Poured at 55°. Tropical fruit juice spiked with alcohol (15%). When I’m old and in the nursing home I want this beer to be my morning juice! Working on my notes for NBW. Thanks Jason!
