What beer are you drinking now? #4322

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for opening the bar. I'm a couple of states west of usual, sitting in my hotel room, drinking a New Breakfast Beer.



Sorry about the crappy photo - poor lighting and other excuses - but, IMHO, this beer doesn't deserve better.

Spiż - Mocne, a starkbier. Its ok.

 

Spiż - Jasne. Pilsner, probably. Unclear because not all menus agree. It's ok.

 

Quaffing Belhaven Scottish Ale.

 

I hit a wall yesterday and stopped at one at the Map Room. Will only have one today as still a bit sluggish after a lot of walking and activity. A few comments before diving in today

• Sorry you didn't like the Braupakt @Ozzylizard . We all have different palates, but wonder if perhaps storage prior to your purchase impacted as I loved the beer nearly 3 months ago.

This beer is silky, smooth, decadent, and five years old. Par for the course with previous experiences from this beer and brewery.

Ok, apparently I love wild grodziskie, that should be an easy itch to scratch, right?

 

Braupakt is definitely an interesting (and to my taste a good) beer. But I would not have this for breakfast.
Braupakt was here in the supermarkets, and maybe still is here and there. When I see some I'll keep it for you, just in case we meet up within the best before date.
I liked the German and Belgium collaboration. Somewhat you find also in Orval.
