Wasn't about success, more about dealing with bad distros disrespecting NG and also about deciding to be loyal to their base customers -- a direct focus on them that built the success.

Well, my wife let me make the trek over the border yesterday "guilt free" as part of Father's Day Weekend, while she held down the fort with 3 kids... Picked up 4 12-packs of cans (Totally Naked, Spotted Cow, Moon Man, and Pilsner). Would usually go for bottles but 48 clanking bottles for 35 minutes would drive me nuts. And I'm definitely not the only one that lives in MN that has made the journey...

I've already made the trek. A case of Kid Kolsch, and 1 6'er of Dancing Man (all they had left). All bottles. Both are great. I just put it in the trunk.

Also, Two Women is an outstanding beer as well.

Sounding like my run a few weeks back, but grabbed 2 cases of Kid and the last case of Dancing. Almost out, gonna need to make another one soon. Here's hoping I can find another case or two of Dancing bottles.

During my aforementioned visit I grabbed a mixed 6-pack of things, and my biggest regret was not buying more Kid Kolsch. It was really good.

Did they make Bubbler this year?

I knew they made another Hefe that wasn't Dancing Man.

They haven't yet. I would be surprised if they did make it.

I bought a 12 of the Pilsner. As expected it is solid.

I got a four pack at the local market here in southern WI. It was surprisingly tasty.

I’m going to stop at the store a little later and I’ll probably pick a few more if they’re still available.

Has NG announced the next R&D beer? I thought they usually do it around great taste of the midwest but don't think I've seen anything...

Looking forward to the return of Gyrator Doppelbock and a new Thumbprint Barley Wine. I'm trying to recall when they last released a barley wine. At least 10 years ago?

It would be nice if New Glarus could partner with the tollway companies to build a device on the freeway similar to the ipass lanes that can drop a variety pack of New Glarus onto your roof rack without stopping as you exit the state of Wisconsin. Would save so much time not having to stop at Woodmans or a gas station on my way out.

But then what would the king of the Cheese Castle do? His royal decrees are the only thing holding back the FIB hordes from scattering our most valuable natural resource to the winds of the windiest of cities.

Haven't been to Wisconsin in a while. What's my best bet for finding New Glarus and other solid selections? Woodman's? How is Hy-Vee or Aldi's? Thanks!

Woodmans or Hy-Vee yes, Aldi No. Otherwise, any grocery store, gas station, or liquor store is likely to carry most of the current line-up.
