Final Impression and summation: 3.75 Basic ethanol delivery system – little flavor other than weak coconut and, perhaps, a hint of chocolate. Surprisingly, little gastric distress for 15.6% ABV.
Rating 3.51, rDev -18.9%

Fortification as I gird my grid for a LOOOONG day with 10,000 women and 20 harried husbands at the beerless AQS show, day 1.

Long time not having a 90 Shilling. I must not have gotten the memo. 90 Shilling is now an Amber Ale vs a Scottish Ale?
Anywho, it's a real easy drinking beer.

Meant to give my first stab at this selction, but spent the time enjoying a very solid offering while trying to fix the 2025 White Sox, which really is a full time job for a couple dozen experienced baseball professionals plus many in analytics.

Needless to say, this is tasting great.

Having my coffee late this beautiful morning - “Pavlovian Dispair” a chocolate mole Imperial Stout from Deviate Brewing, Indianapolis, IN:



I got this at the brewery last summer. After a year in my fridge, the beer is still spicy hot. Lots of green chilies and chocolate. Just enough cinnamon to keep it interesting. A very good mole stout.

It was 50° when I got up this morning. Blue skies and puffy white clouds. Now, nice breezy 64° mid morning here in the Valley. Cheers y’all!

 

Kids beat me in mini golf. They cheated. And I gave them strokes. Loser has to run into the ocean as fast as they can screaming, "I lost!" Luckily there's only like 8000 people here today. Torpedo to drown my sorrow and shame. Cheers!

 

Found some more Weihenstephaner & St. Bernardus Braupakt.

Having one now and keeping the other in a dark cupboard for @Shanex, for a later day. Best before date is February next year, but it probably holds way longer. This definitely is a good beer to my taste, not only 'interesting' because of the two names.

I heard they are planning a new batch next year, to be produced at Watou. This first edition is produced at the Weihenstephaner brewery.

Hey there. Alaskan Wildness here as I feel slightly more comfortable now with all of the songs learned for this Sat nite. 3 different bands and got to rehearse w each one. I mean, I can throw & go but one simple rehearsal can really help.
