People You Follow?

Means they're your friends and not much else. Least it makes it easy to click on their name and click posts .

 

You can show only their reviews on beer pages which is cool. Makes me want to get a beer with you all after reading your thoughts on the beer I just had so we could discuss! Lol

 

I’ve followed people only to see if they’ve had certain beers before sending to them. Click on said beer then “following” and it’ll show of people you’re following have had that beer.

Other than that I haven’t used it for anything.

I use this feature mostly with reviews for beers. When I look up a popular well distributed beer, I use the following tab for beer reviews from people I tend to agree with or have a similar palate to, that have also reviewed a lot of beers I might try and drink.

 

I use the feature with my close beer drinking buds for when we do a bottle share or I plan to give them new beers to try to see if they’ve had them yet (they use BA as primary place to log their beer reviews and ticks).

 

The few folks I followed dropped off the map, so I don't pay attention.
