    Good day BAs! Thanks @AzfromOz for starting us off today! Sorry your brew was ODed, but it still sounds OK.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer, as I get ready to head back to the tundra of NW PA. Was able to meet up with @Whyteboar briefly last night at Brewery Vivant, after the AQS show closed down - my favorite quilt (DUH!):

    Final Impression and summation: 4.25 There is neither aroma nor taste of alcohol – just chocolate and mild chile heat. Also missing the vegetal flavor often present in chile beers. Unfortunately, the bourbon barrels are missing as well.

    I reviewed Brooklyn Lager on BeerAdvocate in 1998.

    Now I’m drinking it in 2024 at a local metal bar in Helsinki, Finland and it’s brewed in Denmark. Hoppy, malty, grape, fresh, creamy, and delicious!

    Chocolate Espresso KBS is a curious beer. OG KBS is a BBA imperial stout with coffee and chocolate. This version then has ... well, more coffee and chocolate. I totally get it; I just think it's kind of funny. :grinning:
