Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread.

Off to another cool start, approaching the end of the apples - only picked up 122 today. Looks like we'll have to buy a few bushels to make applesauce this year.

Today's New Breakfast Beer, thanks to @Whyteboar for suggesting Horrocks market as a worthy stop:



Final Impression and summation: 3.75 Highly quaffable. The flavor seems a bit messier and less straight forward than most Marzen – not bad, just a bit messy. I’d definitely buy this one again.

A miserably rainy day here in Bordeaux. Just how I like it. Rain is my jam!

 

Visiting family in Connecticut so a trip to Tree House Woodstock farm was in order. A truly great Hefe...

 

And the Hefe was followed up with an unfiltered Pilsner with Peacharine hops. Also quite good!

Spent a pleasant few hours picking grapes at a local vineyard - my 3rd year doing this - first of 3 or 4 harvest days - beautiful morning and wonderful grapes!

 

While @BeerVikingSailor was picking grapes, I was picking weeds. I'd rather have his job, although I did get some kudos from my wife.
Enjoying this "Mexican-style dark lager" from Bow and Arrow Brewing.

Great pics and brews @The_Kriek_Freak ! I'm exhausted after the DH. Sox usually play well when I'm there, and were robbed from their first come from behind after the 5th inning win this season by this excellent play by 9th inning defensive replacement Travis Jankowski.

Pipeworks again for me, along with Spiteful my two Chicago favorite brewreries in 2024.
