    Chimay Grande Réserve 2023.
Oak aged Chimay. Best before date on this one is 2028, but would probably keep for ages.
    Cheers

Didn't turn out quite like I wanted but I'm still learning. We'll be serving it up this evening. Cheers!

Celebrating 21 years of wedded bliss today. Mrs DavetotheB is always saying, "I don't deserve you." Or was it, "I don't deserve this." Anyway, it ain't what @ATL6245 has going on but I gotta make a meal out of all this. Tree House Bright to help with the prep. Cheers!

Happy long weekend to the working advocates! Finally getting a nice dose of rain after two weeks of nothing...temps have cooled down to low 70's.
@ATL6245 nicely executed smoke! I personally start mine on the Traeger around 6:00 pm and make sure enough wood is in the hopper for the overnight smoke...yes i am lazy. And congratulations on Georgia's big 2nd half. Was going to watch some but i saw they were starting to roll in the 3rd quarter so i moved on to hang out here. @jzeilinger i look forward to your pigskin shenanigans and commentary this fall!
@Shanex awesome execution on the Mel sketch, for me it is about how the eyes are captured!
@Braunmeister_1943 ooh, that 2016 Helldorado looks awesome!

Me, i am getting into my official review of Sierra Nevada's 2nd Alpha Hop release for the year, this one is Bigfoot based and aged 6 years on cherries, then blended with a bourbon barrel aged Wheatwine. The SNBC team did a fantastic job creating this one.
Listening to SXM Classic Rock Top 1000. Recall seeing REO at Castle Farms in northern Michigan back in 1981 - good memories!
    Cheers!

An Old Fashioned can be made with any type of liquor...It just means a cocktail "made in the old fashioned way" with bitters, sugar, a garnish if you want, and whatever liquor you want.

This guy is fun, if you want more info

Not enough beers, perhaps? In all seriousness, I’m never completely happy with my bbq, but fortunately it’s usually a hit. I learn something new every time, it’s a journey. Cheers!

Just got back from a bike ride with my boy. Worked up some serious thirst- a brew is definitely in order! Going with a rice lager for now..

You lazy? No. Smart? Yes. Using a kettle grill is probably the hardest, lest efficient way to do it. It can be a challenge to keep the temp steady. I was too cheap to go with a fancier smoker until I decide I like doing it. Then I'll step up.

Summer IPA at Seedstock Brewery in Denver. My travels today had me in the vicinity so I decided to give them a try. A wise decision as this is a very worthy no nonsense clear IPA with a west coast vibe. Perhaps a lager next? Cheers V-barflies! :beers:

I would like better bark and would probably use hickory wood rather than mesquite. Also need to get my timing down better. If everyone enjoys, I'm good!
