    Just returned from dinner with my wife as we celebrated our 28th anniversary at an Italian place we hadn't tried before. Their beer menu (like most Italian places it seems) was sparse. Did try a Peroni, which I had not tried before. Decent beer, nothing to hate on or write home about. Anywho, home now and ready for a nap :slight_smile:

    ...brisket looks good, Dan...got a neighbor who wants to smoke a brisket with his apple wood, so he'll bring it over tomorrow afternoon, and we'll do what you did...Monday, we'll smoke it (it's only a 4-5 # brisket, I think - but I'll still start early AM), and then it's over to his house where we'll eat with his family...Mrs. BeerGoot bought individual ice creams for their three kids, so that ought to be interesting...Big Ian and I will likely sit off to the side, drink German beers and solve the political and social woes of the world...:grin:

    Freshest By 10/2/24 date so I took a flyer and bought a 4/pack last week. Glad I did…this is a beer I want to drink. Another brewed once a year beer we never see in Florida…

    My steak is resting in a quick marinade…time to go inside and make the magic happen…Cheers y’all!

    Absolutely. That was a good video. Brandy is the Wisconsin way to do it, but there are many delicious versions that can be created.
