    Have a great labor day BA. Been a bit of a crazy Sunday as the power pole fell over at 1230am and ripped my meter box off the apartment. Duke energy put up a new pole and transformer but the landlord needs to get electricians for the rest. I was the only one who called maintenance apparently. So a pretty miserable day doing nothing. Me and my wife came to the sleep inn around the corner and we will check on the cats over the next few days for food and water. :grimacing: Cookout watermelon shakes and big double burgers for a late dinner. I could eat cookout any day of the week :stuck_out_tongue: hope we can get back to normal asap.

    Drinking a pernicious in the hotel room and watching South park as usual. Going to listen to some more books later on. Thinking about fairy tale by Stephen King. I'm wide awake after sleeping in sweat all day :flushed:

    I stubbed my foot in the dark yesterday afternoon so now I have it on ice. Going to breakfast soon. Not sure how long it will take the maintenance to fix, but the damage looks really serious.

    New Belgium Fruit force is just as amazing as when I reviewed it. Insanely smooth and low bitterness with juicy hop and fruit punch flavors. Minimal warmth of abv!

    Good day BAs! Off to a sunny start today - thanks Ian (@superspak) for starting us off. Looks like the damage is pretty superficial - shouldn't take more than a few hours to fix, mostly checking circuits after the remount is complete.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer, another from my visit to Horrocks:

    Final Impression and summation: 4.25 The cherries and the pilsner malt are well balanced so neither overwhelms. Fruit fly approved.

    One should always start their morning out with some fruit juice. As I don't have any, this is a fair substitute, especially while starting a brisket smoke for a neighbor (Mrs. BeerGoot and I get to join in later this afternoon or evening). But, back to the beer - it definitely presents a powerful citrus-forward character while remaining very drinkable even with its relatively high ABV. A breakfast of champions!

    Non-American and I giggled right here.

    As long as there will be politicians, this will be par of the course for (many… let’s not tar them all with the same brush). The not too political point and instead humor I’m trying to make here is it seems not to work differently here.

    Cheers, I’m already tired of politics, just for a few sentences.

    I reckon that my Pic shows one of the best 2 beers to drink side by side that there is. (IMHO) Packaged dates are only 49 days difference. The Summerfest was only US$7.64, being on sale.
