Fresh Hops (2024)

Anyone interested in splitting a case of Kern Rivers Fresh Hop Wet Exit? We can split 2 ways or 3 ways. I don’t need a case. The last 2 years this has been a very good batch from KRBC.

 

The description has "Fresh Strata! Mosaic & Amarillo". I'm assuming it's only the strata that's actually wet/fresh. @KRBCEric, is that correct?

Yes, that is correct. Loads of fresh hop Strata in the Whirlpool with hop pellets to round it out in the dry hop. I just got back into town last night, so I have not tasted it yet, but will certainly be having some this evening. Always one of my favorites.

 

Not CA related & maybe premature, but has Fremont Field To Ferment cans shown up yet? They also has Cowiche Canyon, which usually comes out after F2F.

 

Ordered on Weds and arrived Thurs. Can confirm, Wet Exit is bomb. Also got a pack of the pumpkin ale, and love that one too.

Free shipping on a case is amazing and I was shocked it arrived in 24 hours using UPS. Top notch service out there in Kern.

 

my first fresh hop drop for 2024 and it’s a good start. This after having Fidens/Cheeks single ipa collab for last much. I dig west coast.

 

Had a couple last night myself. Probably the best version we have made. However, if you are looking for malt and chlorophyll, this ain't it...

 

F2F and CC usually hit a bit later in the fh season. Though I'm pretty sure CC didn't make it to SoCal at all last year

 

I had it on draft last year in North Hollywood, but I don’t remember if they had cans too

I guess it was in the regular California ipa thread. We probably started discussing fresh hops before an official thread started.

ASAP is flying off the shelves in CM. Love to see th enthusiasm for fh here in SoCal.

Received my case of grape lotion fh beers this morning. 60 hours from Sac to OC and they threw in 3 cold packs which is much appreciated. can't wait to crack some tonight
