@cheeseheadinMinneapolis so kindly gave this to me last night. I am thankful, and really enjoying this on this humid day.

From a 16oz can, no date on the can.

This is a clear pouring beer and golden in color. Nice amount of carbonation, and a 4 finger white head. It took me a couple of tries to get it all in the glass. The head retention is decent, but no lacing on the glass.
The aroma is full on cereal. Tons of grain in this aroma. Faint honey like sweetness.
Taste - This is a malty beer. There's hints of sweetness up front. Tons of cereal in the flavor. The back has a slight, but pleasing bitterness.
The body is very smooth. It is somewhat light, but expected for the style.
This is quite tasty and refreshing. Very good on this hot, humid day.

 

Settling in with a Head Hunter to watch Shogun. When I first tried watching it a few months ago, I couldn't get into it, but I must have been in the wrong head space, because it's awesome.



I've also fallen down the Chappell Roan rabbit hole . . .

 

Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA at less than 4 weeks in the can is amazing for my little town.

Meh, although I really like this brewery, this is not one of my favorite Oktoberfest beers. The touch of maple is nice.

 

Glad to see someone else here on team Chappell. My million dollar idea is having her on Sesame Street with Cookie Monster, and Cookie sees Chappell holding a cookie, takes it from her hand and says: "It's a cookie-nom-nom-nom."

I'll take my payment in cash, thank you.
