Thank you @flagmantho for opening the thread today. I've been enjoying your vacation pics and beer selections. Also enjoying the great European sightseeing shots by @Shanex and @jmdrpi . Just in my home before sunrise, hoping to get to sleep til noon and get some stuff down on perhaps are final Summer like temperature day here (90 F High Forecast). I'll be back to even hotter next week with forecasts in the mid 100s F in Vegas next week. Yikes.

They're only 30 miles from me, but I never go there - in general their brews aren't worth the expenditure of the time. This one is an exception - interesting that it showed up on Tavour before it make it to local distributors.

Final Impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Decent imperial stout, shows what Voodoo is capable of when they decide to produce from their barrel aging program – certainly not as hot as many of their releases.

G'day all!

I picked this up yesterday. I hadn't realized that it was Rock Chuck King vs Rock Chuck Rye. I'm glad I got it. Definitely an amped up version of the Rye. Spicy, sweet, notes of Rye, chocolate, figs. More if I want to analyze it until hell freezes over but I don't roll that way.
