Smart mouth Outta Yet Gourd pumpkin ale

 

Dragging a little today. Dropped the girl off at her theater class, so I have some time to kill. Having a healthy-ish lunch and a NA beer from Brooklyn Brewery. Not bad.

 

Good day BAs! Slept in this morning. Clearing the cobwebs with some late morning coffee - West Sixth Brewing’s BBA Kentucky Coffee imperial stout:



Bottled 2024. Purchased at brewery August 2024. Poured at 54°. An outstanding impy coffee stout. Working on notes for NBW. Cheers and have a great Saturday y’all!

 

At a winery that is also a brewery that I’ve posted from before. Beers have been ok in the past, but the first two today are pretty tasty. Mine is an Abbey-style pumpkin ale - not entirely sure what makes it an abbey-style, but it’s a decently spice pumpkin that isn’t too sweet.


Dodging lantern flies and an occasional yellow jacket, but the weather is nice.

The name might suggest a juice bomb but this Flying Monkeys Juicy Ass IPA is excellent. The aroma and flavor are quite nuanced and clean. It's available in the US but I got this fresh from Toronto.

SN Oktoberfest while setting things up to swap the starter, battery and starter solenoid on the 1991 Mustang. Like playing with gunpowder it's best to wrap up time playing with floor jacks, ramps and jack stands prior to too many beers...... Cheers and hope y'all's teams win today. We'll be waiting for the Canes vs. SF Bulls, our youngest daughters alma mater.....

Prolly the loudest concert I ever went to, but it was in the Hollywood Sportatorim, a big ass metal shed.
