    Yes, it rain steady and torrential at times Friday and Saturday. They said we got almost 7 inches in 2 days. Take care.

    Sierra Nevada/Gutmann Oktoberfest. As most have said already, this is a great Festbier. Crisp and refreshing with a solid malt base and floral, grassy, earthy hops.

    He’s made some poor decisions, bringing back Zeke, letting Pollard go, over paying a qb that can’t get the ball to your overpriced receiver. The team looks lifeless on defense. Could be worse I guess, at least they’re not the Raiders.

    Are there any hop notes? Bitterness? I’m usually an English style guy but this American barleywine (not your declaration I know) sounds like it straddles the line. I guess ultimately it’s just nomenclature since they’re all barleywines. Just curious.

    Drinking a Hop Butcher Gator Belts and Patty Melts CO 07/30. The Mrs has been cooking this afternoon ,spaghetti sauce w/sweet and hot sausage ,meatballs and pork rib tips, also a whole chicken for soup, and cream of chicken.
