A bit of both I suppose. The wallet could always use a breather, and I haven't really been impressed by much of the adjunct laden options they have released this year with exception to Derivation 19.

Have there traditionally been more 'included' bottles by now? I think we've only had the one with the glass, correct?

 

Last year they dumped basically all of them on us at the end

 

Do tell...What did they dump on you in the end? I liked the Grand Cru Derivation at the beginning and the DB Reverb shortly after.

Are they not producing a Single Thread for LC this year?

 

Are most people operating under the assumption that LC will or will not get a chance at the cellar anniversary bottles?

How did they handle the regular anniversary last year? No bottles for LC and all on site? Or limited LC bottels?

 

They released a very small amount of 10 year box sets (don’t know exactly how many.) but I’d guess maybe 25% - 30% of LC got them….

 

Was it a race? Like they went up at 10am and were sold out at the 45 second mark?

If we don't get another LC release until BBT, I'll admittedly be disappointed. Last year BBT emails went out 10/25ish, so there is still a month. But it'll probably be another Tete release that will then end up in the BBT package again.

 

Also, the birthday blog is the first time I've seen them call out "park in the lot behind Gus's". Is that actually a public lot back there? I just assumed that was tied to either Gus's or the funeral home.

One time Gus’s roped it off and Cory undid it though.
