Wanting to join you guys in a beer but Mrs. ATL
In an irony of ironies, Mrs. ATL6245 and I were in Siesta Key early in the week. We bailed Tuesday afternoon and drove back to N. GA. Looks like we may get worse weather here than in SK because of the hurricane. Go figure.

Hey BA, been calm and dry for the last few hours, feels like 98 degrees. A few bands now with light winds. Stone 28th anniversary hazy DIPA. We'll hang out front until the rain blows sideways....

Horizont x Willibald - Cashmere Shores IPA. Kind of a hazy hop bill on a non-hazy IPA … not at all bad, but maybe just not to my taste.

Can you tell I’m running out of things in my AirBnB to use as a backdrop? :joy:

I finished work with a High Noon shower from a broken can. I need a beer.

    Aviator - Inbound Brewing - Minneapolis, MN - NEIPA - 5%

This beer had potential, but the lack of flavor is a let down.

    From a 16oz can. Canned on 07/22/2024

Murky and hazy pouring beer. It looks like a dark pineapple juice in color. The head is 3 finger, white, fluffy looking, and long lasting. There's some great lacing on the glass.
Aroma is a light tropical citrus. I do get some pineapple and mango in it.
Taste - Not much to the flavor. I am getting some mnago in the flavor from the hops. There's a hint of dank and pineapple on the back. All flavors are very faint and light.
Smooth and juicy body. Decent feeling. Somewhat full feeling and soft.
The flavor is a let down in this beer. It does feel good.

    1) Hop Butcher DUN DUN DUN (7.5% canned 7/10/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Amarillo, Citra & Galaxy for flavors of orange, tangerine, nectarine, and tropical stonefruit. Leans sweet.
    versus
    2) Phase Three Rule Of Thirds (7.7% canned 7/10/24): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic & Nelson for flavors of white grape, snappy passionfruit, zesty citrus and tropical berries. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Winner: Phase Three Rule Of Thirds
Hop Butcher vs Phase Three IPA Battle. First is Hop Butcher. Amarillo, Citra, Galaxy. Lots of tropical and sweet orange flavors.
Next is Phase Three Rule Of Thirds. Citra, Mosaic, and Nelson. Fantastic showcase of tropical Mosaic and vinous New Zealand Nelson flavors. Complex, flavorful, yet clean. Outstanding IPA from Phase Three.
