How many BBT's could you buy when they offered it to LC's first?

“Refreshing, easy drinking beer available year round? What a strange concept. It will never work!” - Most craft breweries

    Oude Fermer b1 :ok_hand:

Shocking contrast to see the throngs of people at Modern brewery compared to the light foot traffic at Side Project.

That Oude fermier b1 was special. IMO a top 10 beer.

That's awesome - I never have b1. It was the one thing enticing me to fly out this weekend, but think I'm just going to come out for the cellar in Nov.

    How was DB Phenom?

It was good, but wouldn't say outstanding. Letting it sit to achieve room temp allowed it to open up a bit, compared to that first cold sip. Heavy dark fruit (Prune, raisin, cherry) some smoky tobacco, medium body, and balanced barrel. Borderline cloying and wished it had a little more heat for being DB.

It was so good. Glad I finally got to try it after all these years.
At least it was easy for us to get bottles this time!
The new Boysen Du Fermier was also really nice and Gin SdF is always a treat.

Though lunch at modern before heading over to SP is really the move, the brewery's food is really good but the schnitzel sandwich at Modern was really something special

The food at Modern is impressive and fairly priced for what you get. The schnitzel is seriously a wonder to behold.

I am always weary of cinnamon, but BVC b2 is outstanding. It's all french toast and just a little brandy.
