Good day BAs! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for starting us off - October in Minnesota - the glaciers should be appearing on the northern horizon soon - particularly around Frostbite Falls!

Today's (Not) New Breakfast Beer - one I first and last had 23 Jul 2014 outside Monticello:



This is the first time I've known it to be distributed here on the tundra of NW PA - 8 days past BB date. Unimpressed. Maybe tomorrow's New Breakfast Beer "Lunch" will be more impressive.

Style: Follows the style guidelines, as condensed by BA, but more like a British version of the style.
Final Impression and summation: 3.5 Very nondescript brew, certainly not tasteless, but hardly noticeable.

Right along here ba. Actually my first time trying these. Fresh squeezed, ipa, deschutes. Decent stuff that’s very much akin to two hearted and jai alai. Canning is a bit dated but drinking fine.

Lunch today is a Chipotle smoked brisket burrito with a Focal Banger.

 

Schön ! I had the Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest too recently. One of my favourites among the classic Oktoberfest beers.
Almost no Oktoberfest beers in the shops here in the Netherlands by the way. I brought some from Germany a couple of weeks ago.
