    Hey, @chrisjws, happy Friday to you!

    My old man is in Tokyo right now, so say hi if you see him.

    While I can't imagine too many BA denizens sitting down to a beer in Tokyo right now, I sure as hell can't imagine too many people in little old Geelong, down the bottom of Australia, tucking into a nice can of King Julius right now, either. But I am, so I guess I'm winning!

    This one is courtesy of @Beer_Economicus, who just happened to turn up at my place with some Treehouse in tow last week! Just in case I didn't say enough thanks to him, let me do so again: thanks, mate!

    I really liked it. It was very tasteful. Not huge, but a lot of quality rooms with interesting narratives to each. A lot of easter eggs and treasure hunt elements to certain rooms. Very thoughtful design overall. It was very digestible for 2-3 hours spent there. Sounds like a lot of the frustrations people have is getting access. Either you shell out for the tour (4x ticket cost) or you do the F5 race. We did the tour, it includes some other elements including going to an open air architectural museum that was the inspiration for a lot of the work there. Also it did help with logistics as getting out there is a bit of a pain. I would have probably gone the F5 route but not complaining. My wife is the big Ghibli fan and she loved it.

    Hello again thirsty seekers. Another great day to be here! A bright, sunny & cool day here. 40F outdoors when I awoke so it's a perfect setting (IMO) for a strong beers outside. I wish I could build a little campfire in my patio firebowl but there are severe fire bans & alerts now. Driest September on record for us locally. Sooooo strong beer for the warming effect. I'm filling up my schedule and putting out those kinda fires anyways. Ha!
    Here comes Columbus Bodhi DIPA 8.3%. 3 cans present from a variety pk ( 2 cans of Creeper remain ) so here we go. Up up and away! Cheers!
