Oof, this Ft George really improved from the last time I had this beer (2018?); so much so, had to update my rating, very solid. Strata hops really sing in this one and it hits that sweet spot of floral, peach, and dank on both aroma and taste. Bubbles for days. WELL DONE.

Closing the camper and pulling the boat out of the water, we had time for a last spin around the lake this season. Ranger and Joy approve.



I approve this beer, which is VERY appropriately named - this is DANK 3 feet away from the glass, with enough weed to trigger a drug test. I really enjoy dank IPA’s, so I am definitely a fan.

 

Been a while, football divides my attention. But with IU almost finished and OU off, I got some time to share a story. Last week, I tried a 4-pack of Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Cocoa porter. I was a bit surprised by the first review saying it was "sour" but I soon found out why. Two of these beers poured with a giant head, and were sweet and enjoyable. The other two had no head, tasted sour/infected, and got poured. I had to run out and get some good Indiana beer- Taxman's Exemption- to salvage the weekend. This weekend, more good Indiana beer:

 

For dinner, a sausage pie with a good DIPA from Cape May Brewing Co. Cheers!
