BaleBreaker/Russian River GREEN RUSH fresh (Simcoe!) hop IPA. 6.9% (nice!)

Let's see... yeah, pretty fuckin' stellar. I think a lot of these fresh hops, IF made well, just depend on what your favorite hop is. Much as I love that Strata one, I love SIMCOE a whole lot more.... bring on that old school west coast bitterness. eeeee-yaaah!

The numbers say they sucked tonight (sans Wheeler) lol. They went with what worked all season-Hoffman/Strahm/Kerkering. That said, while the bullpen [probably] put this game out of reach, this one is on the offense. You aren't going to win many games in the playoffs where you only score one run.

 

Probably more produce I can eat before it spoils. Is there a way to freeze some?

Big time agree, my man. Getting a bye in baseball is a negative advantage. I thought Wheeler was our only hope, even if he was upwards of 140 pitches. You could see it with the Phils at the plate. Bullpen rust is a thing also. Lets see what tomorrow brings

Got two of these BA Hydra PB&J sandwich sours. Excellent. One of the few sours where I can actually smell the marshmallow predominantly up front, among loads of berries. The flavor follows the nose, with a nice punch of peanut butter at the end. I’m not getting much in the way of barrel, but it’s still very cold. Consumed in the Mortalis Buffalo 1st anniversary glass.
