On tap at the brewery.

This beer is a clear pouring beer and amber in color. There's a minimal white head when poured from the tap.
The aroma is a light caramel malt aroma. There's a hint of nuts in it.
Flavor has a great malty profile. I get a good bread hit in this beer. Great biscuit flavor. Hint of caramel. Some roasted nut. There's a bit of sweetness.
The body is smooth. It is full.
Quite tasty overall.

Happy Wednesday BAs! The air is cool & crisp, the leaves are starting to change colour - no getting around it, autumn is now in full swing. Good time to crack open a pumpkin ale, mostly because I ran out of festbier. Cheers!

 

Orange Blossom Honey Pilsner Squared 11% - super mild flavored.. not even a hint of booze.. much prefer their OG OBP. Cheers!!

1) BlackStack Crowd Control (8.0% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Mosaic, Cashmere & Strata for flavors of grapefruit, pineapple, strawberry, green melon, and mango
versus
2) BlackStack Double 755 (8.8% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra, Azacca & Amarillo for flavors of orange, pineapple, mango, and melon. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Winner: BlackStack Double 755
BlackStack NEIPA Battle. First is Crowd Control. Great hop combo with the Strata with grapefruit and strawberry flavors. Drinks sweet.
Next is Double 755. Drinks with sweet orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and mango skins. Classic Blackstack NEIPA flavors with a big juicy and fruity burst at 8.8%. Outstanding DIPA.

This is a clear pouring beer and golden in color. There's a bit of a sticky looking white head.
The aroma is very faint. I just get a bit of grain. Not much else.
Lots of biscuit in the flavor. I get a honey like sweetness to this beer.
Clean crisp body to this beer.
Quite tasty overall.

Not our first hurricane in the 9 years since we moved down to Florida, probably not our last either. Been sitting out on the screened in front porch most of the day, might need to go in soon as the winds ate starting to kick up.

Git yer swamp buggy out. The gravy's gittin' thick! Yet it's dry as a bone here with no rain in sight. Outrageous and dangerous. Plenty of outdoor activities can be seen through or completed. It's one gorgeous day here again for a beer.

 

Buried our Pomeranian today, she was 14. Piper died in my wife's arms this morning at 8 AM. Mowed the oldest daughter's large yard and now home on the deck with a Goose Island Full Pocket Pilsner. Such a good beer, hopefully Goose Island continues to brew this one.
