I asked about FH Pallet Jack at the Barley Brown booth during the festival. Whoever I was talking to gave me the impression that they'd love to see that, but hadn't seen that before. Which is a very different impression than I've gotten from you folks in this thread.

Which only increases the mystery and elusiveness of FH PJ...I've never seen it. I've heard stories, though. Does it really exist? Is it a myth?

Assuming they make it this year, I think this will be the 4th year now.

BB’s made FH Pallet Jack back in 2016 when I was tracking all the FH beers I could.

I finally got through my big haul, finishing off the last handful since I had to stay up all night before my looooong stretch at work this past week or so. Then I stop over at the store for ham for the dog and some diapers, and they had singles of several freshies I hadn't tried yet, including Citra Slicker! Well, it's not like I was just going to leave them there all by their lonesome...

I've told this story before, but..... One year at Yakima during the fest, I ambled up to the Barley Browns table, and they had FHPJ. I just posted up there and that was all I drank the rest of the fest.

So, yes, it exists. At least until it gets in mah belly!

Y'all, Stoup is on gorram fire this year. As @Orca alluded to, I was a big fan of the Italian Pils version of Fresh Hop Fiend that they released. The IPA with Simcoe was decent. Not mindblowing, but solid, but the one I just grabbed that has Chinook is in the running for best FH beers I've had this year. It's on point. The nose bursts with fresh character, it's got good freshitude across the palate, and the finish ends with a nice burst of fresh hop je ne sais quois.
Very impressed by their output this year.

Ilk Beer of Olympia didn't get the memo about using the term "fresh hops" so I"m afraid these are Dripping Wet.

Light aroma with orange and mango in the nose. Crisp and slightly acidic on the tongue. Flavors of orange soda to start with more fruit in the grape and mango vein. Interesting flavors but a blind taste test would not admit this is an IPA. This is the lighter side of fresh hops, apparently, with a modest flavor and minimal bitterness. Quite drinkable, whatever it is.

I am a big fan of Town & Country whenever I have to drive through the Big Smoke. But I got Breakside's Fresh Hop IPA - Citra at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham, which you should put on your list for weekend road trip. But you knew that already. I don't know why we don't start a "VIsiting Bellingham..." thread.

Same beer, but different picture for this thread.

Another solid Freshie from Single Hill. This is smoooooth. Smooth like that FH Sticky Hands. Just disappears. Unlike Sticky, this one clocks in at 6.2. This could be a good thing or a bad thing (depending on how the Coug game goes :joy:)

I started one a few years ago, and it didn't get much traffic. I'd be happy to try again if folks think it'd be worth it.

Here's the Fresh Hop Dino I was raving about recently. My first date with Living Häus and our relationship is off to a good start...

Fresh hop Citra; collaboration with Ghost Town Brewing. Lovely lemon and melon aroma. The taste is fruity and lush with a whole variety of flavors— orange, green melon, lemon, and even a distinct hint of papaya. Orange/banana juice? Smooth and tangy with plenty of carbonation. This is really tasty and definitely one of my favorite fresh hop brews of the year.

Yet another one is Fresh Hop Lateral A from Single Hill.

Aroma is very inviting, one of the best fresh hop aromas I've had this year. Quite full of melon and lime aromatics. Crisp and a little hot on the tongue. Bitterness is moderate but it's really hoppy. Other flavors are minimal, but overall it's a quite drinkable beer, though on the acidic side. Very green and sharp flavors with prickles in the back of the throat.

Tried out two new freshies yesterday. The first was Von Ebert's FH Sector 7 (Mosaic). Not clear on the canning date, but it's at least 3 weeks old, perhaps more, but still had quite a bit of fresh flavor in it. I have never had the non-FH version of this beer before, but I'm going to make a point of getting one because I really enjoyed it.

Next was the Bale Breaker/Russian River Green Rush (Simcoe) - just fantastic. I really enjoy the fresh Simcoe and this was very well done. It might be imagination just because RR is attached to it, but I thought I detected some similar notes from Pliny in there. I'm not real familiar with the the Pliny hop profile, but perhaps this is in the ballpark?
