Swami's is indeed exceptional esp if lemon tastes are pleasing to the drinker. I am very pleased! :beers:

I wonder what one of those Chevelle's cost new back in 1970? $2,000 or so?

The stock/factory exhaust and mufflers on the SS Chevelle were loud as F and folks would then further modify them to be louder. Straight pipes, glass-packed, cherry bomb. You name it.

Depending on options, the MSRP for a 1970 Chevelle ranged from just under $3,000 to over $4,000.

Drivers that wanted the ultimate in power signed up for the grand-daddy of all Chevelles – the SS 454 LS6. While reports have production numbers at 4,475 for the 1970 LS6, exact hardtop, drop-top, and El Co breakdowns are unclear.

Depending on vehicle quality, owner’s history, resto-mods, and matching numbers, a ’70 Chevelle’s budget could today stretch from $30,000 to over $300,000. A record-making 1970 SS 454 LS6 crossed the block at Barrett-Jackson with a hammer price that exceeded $1 million.

I don't want to post photos from yesterday but I was having too much of a good time and didn't post them in real time. I'm currently having a hungover from these beers so does it count?

Anyway, I was at the Bala Golf Club where Conshohocken Brewing had a Craft Beer social going on. These were the beers on offer.

I don't normally buy their stuff but these were all super fresh and delicious. The lager (B 1901) is brewed exclusively for the Bala Golf Club and can only be found here. I thought it would be your run of the mill adjunct lager but holy crap, it was hoppy, dry, and one of the best lagers I've had in some time.

In 1995 I bought a 1978 Olds Toronado for $400, drove it for 6 yrs, and sold it for $300. Ha!! It was a ghetto sled.

Tailgating before heading over to the Sam Adam's Brewery for the annual massive Oktoberfest bash for employees and their families. (My Father-in-law retired from there.) The one time of year I drink Sam Adam's because it's free and they throw a heck of a party.
