Came across a local liquor store that had some 2023 Celebration out in the singles section, so I assume it's showed up at the local distributor and will be on shelves soon (I visit this place once every couple months cause their prices are bottom barrel, in line with their stocking practices. They have not had Celebration on the shelves in at least 8 months).

Let's share sightings as this wonderful seasonal rolls out. And then we can compare an contrast to years gone by

@unlikelyspiderperson you’re saying this place still has last year’s Celebration in stock? And they’re still in business? That’s a crime against the term “fresh hop”

    Welcome to beer.

It's the college liquor store. I assume they had a 12 pack left and figured they better move them ASAP before they move the last bit of o fest and have to put the fresh stuff out

Last year's threads were all started around now, so we should see an official announcement soon.

I’ve been to a lot of beer stores in a lot of towns but I’ve never seen the previous year’s Celebration on shelves in October. Maybe February or March—but not October. I guess we truly are living in a post-shame world.

One of my favorites. I will be on the lookout for it down here also….. although it’s unlikely we get anything first down here on the peninsula. Not sure how Helene is impacting Mills River, NC now a few weeks out.
Also looking forward to the possibility of resurrected Anchor Steam Christmas Ale

The concert and Celebration release event at Mills River scheduled for tomorrow was postponed. Tours at Mills River resume on Friday.

    Thanks for starting this.

We have a separate one in the New England forums that my fellow beer advocate @EnronCFO has been posting annually since at least 2012.

    Bring it on.

According to the locator, it seems like it's out all around Chico, CA....nothing in other locations as of yet.

SN was pouring the new version at the GABF. It's as good as ever and tastes very similar to previous editions. Which I guess is to be expected.

It's still my favorite IPA, period. It holds up shockingly well over time, too. Looking forward to buying a boatload of it.

I am looking forward to purchasing Celebration IPA again when it arrives to my local beer retailers.

I hope that Sierra Nevada never discontinues this beer since it is a great example that a tasty IPA does not need to be:

    · Juicy/Hazy

    · Pale in color with no crystal malt in the grain bill

    · Etc.

Sometimes old school is the best school.

    Cheers!

In the meantime - I can "celebrate" this other Sierra Nevada delicious and fresh wet hop IPA....at least until Celebration comes out in a few weeks around here!

Beautiful. I visited the SN online store when I was reminded of Northern Hemisphere by a post on this site but it was already sold out. Enjoy!

And now I am seeing that it is currently available. Hurray.
