Hey yo! I've been on a lucky streak lately. I won a bottle of Treeside on a FB razz the other day.

 

What was last year's deal? I can see tickets were $150 but I don't remember what allocation I got. I know I spent a ton at the event.

 

So has anyone seen the, "Rare won't be available anywhere else than Rare Day and is not seeing distro," that the one beer influencer or whatever he is claimed in that video? I've not seen this stated or indicated anywhere else. Feels like they're trying to hype it up or something. I dk, maybe I'm wrong. I certainly was on my predicted price.

EDIT: okay, so it does say on the GI website under Rare's description in the availability notes, "Goose Island Taproom & Salt Shed Pub Only."

2013 Me: Have to go to Rare Day for that bottle
2024 Me: I can share a bottle at a GI location whenever as they probably will have stock for the next 10 years, plus have it on draft at 2025 Prop Day, Block Parties, maybe Fobab (if they decided to bring their big gun to competition) or etc. throughout the next however many years.

I've never attended in a year with 2 sessions but chose the first. Is there any consensus on which, if any, is better?

 

doesn’t matter, just go with what works best for your schedule.

session 1 might start cold and end with nice weather, session 2 might start with good weather and end cold and dark.

I went session 2 since I’m coming in Saturday from Michigan and didn’t want to have to leave at 8am
