Brasserie Joli Rouge (France) ‘Agent Orange’ BBA Strong Ale.,. Cheeeeers!

An absolute knockout here!
Ingredients: Water, Organic barley malt (Pils, Munich, Biscuit, Caramel), Mandarina Bavaria hops, bitter orange peel (from the brewer’s mom’s tree(!), 5-33 yeast.
Aged in Speyside single malt Scotch barrels.

 

A crisp Fall morning. My Dad would have been 79 today. His first heavenly birthday. Cheers all.

Bottom line the coffee held up well for the 2023 bottle, perhaps a bit too well as I'm not getting much of the base or any of the barrel. All that said, it works well for my personal palate, so enjoying before my second sleep which will happen soon.

Pleasant IPA, very flowery on the nose. A bit past BB date but still acceptable.

Final impression and summation: 4 Decent IPA, slightly past its prime.

Nice autumn weather here in Casper.
This Chai Imperial Stout is boozy as hell. $3.99 for the single bottle; I'm glad that I didn't have to buy, say, a 4pack. Not that it's bad, just the alcohol is too in my face.

Remember the old days you you would have to stand on your tippy toes to get a head and it would settle quicker than you could get your phone out. This one hung out for 15 minutes. A balanced 15% with booze but not over the top. Cheers man.
