Poured into a 16 Nordic pint glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a very attractive hazy yellow with a two finger sticky white head that leaves gobs of lace with amazing retention. 4.5

Aroma is cantaloupe, lime, passionfruit, mandarin, and apricot. 3.75

Taste is cantaloupe, lime, passionfruit, mandarin, and apricot. 4

Mouthfeel is above average, soft gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 7% a little bigger flavor but a little thinner than I would have expected. 4.25

Overall this is solid, just nothing standing out to make it amazing. Still a well made and beautiful beer, just didn’t grab me. 4 Cheers all.

Final impression and summation: 4 (After deducting 0.25 point for the undated personal container) Very good take on the style, if a bit pricey. Still, I’m not disappointed and I might purchase this again.

Good morning BAs! Drove to Sarasota early this morning to pick a jury. Instead, the judge rolled us over to next Friday. Back home now drinking “Rocky’s Revenge”, a BBA brown ale from Tyranena Brewing Company, Lake Mills, WI:



No bottled date. Poured at 55°. Malt forward with a whiff of bourbon. A nice brown ale, wish it had more bourbon.

Beer sharing/drinking at the pub later this afternoon. Cheers and have a fantastic Friday y’all!
